BOOKING YOUR EVENT

PLACES WE WILL GO:

  • Houses: Front and back yards

  • Facilities: Indoors and Outdoors
  • Hospitals: Indoors and Outdoors
  • Behavioral Health Centers: Indoors and Outdoors
  • Libraries: Indoors and Outdoors 
  • Parks: North of the River Parks ONLY

PLACES WE WILL NOT GO:

  • Inside Houses and inside Apartments
  • Outdoor areas for Apartments & Condos
  • NON-NOR Parks
  • RV/Trailer Parks
  • Fields without a legal address
  • abandoned lots/homes
  • Theme Parks, unless booked by park
  • Farms, Ranches, or locations with other livestock

If you are booking an event at a location you do NOT own, you must have permission from the owner and/or faculty. This is especially important for businesses, schools, and facilities.

15-minute goat grams are great for businesses, birthdays, and/or for small children who may not sit still for longer than 15 minutes. Don’t have a full event planned and just want a quick goat visit? Book our 15-minute gram option now! 

*Please note, 15-minute grams will not include any other animals. Rabbit racing addon cannot be included.

REQUIRED: 1 Hour event or longer. Want extra room for additional guests? You can upgrade the pen size for an additional charge. Upgrades are not available for cement/asphalt (or indoor) events.

Arrival and Set-Up

  • We arrive between 10-20 minutes before your event start to set-up.
  • We will always call on arrival, so please have your phone handy.
  • We do not provide seating or lighting, please keep this in mind for late and long events.
  • A canopy can be provided for rainy or warm days.
  • Fan and portable a/c available. No power needed; we provide our own power source for any electrical devices.
  • We cancel any event over 100F degrees.

  • Golden Meadow will arrive in a truck with a trailer and will need adequate space for parking.
  • We do request an open space close to event area for easy access to set-up.
  • Please do not block truck and trailer with other vehicles.
  • We use a dolly and a goat wagon, please have a clear walking space to event spot.
  • A grassy area is ideal for set-up, but not required.
  • We need at least a 10×10 area for pen and canopy.
  • Do not allow children to play near or inside trailer.

RED: $20 Travel Fee
YELLOW: $15 Travel Fee
PURPLE: $25 Travel Fee

Payment

$40 Deposit required

  • We now require a $40 nonrefundable deposit for all goat rentals.
  • Once you book and if you decide to cancel, your deposit will not be refunded. 
  • Deposits are transferable up to 1 week prior to scheduled event; you may only transfer your booking deposit ONCE to another date/time. 
  • Within 1 week of your event, the deposit is NO LONGER available to transfer to another date/time.
  • You can choose to pay deposit only or full amount upon booking.
  • Checks are NOT accepted, unless you are booking through/for an organization.
  •  For remaining balance: we accept credit card, cash, venmo, zelle, paypal, and cashapp.

Canceling your event

  • You can cancel your event at any time by using the link in your confirmation email.
  • Or you can give us a call and a team member will cancel it for you.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, you will be responsible for 100% of the service cost.
  • Failure to pay the balance for last minute cancelations will result in a permanent ban of future goat grams for your name and address.
  • If you paid in full and are not canceling within 24 hours of your event, a refund minus deposit amount will be issued.

Out of Area Bookings

  • ANY location outside of the Bakersfield or Shafter is request only and may not be approved due to scheduling conflicts.
  • Areas outside of Delano, Wasco, McFarland, Lamont, Arvin, Lake Isabella, and Buttonwillow will have a CUSTOM travel and you must call/email/text for quote prior to requesting a booking. (Location must be within 100 miles of Bakersfield, CA).
  • A minimum of a 1-hour event is required for ANY event outside of Bakersfield or Shafter.
  • Any location 100 miles or more away from Bakersfield require a minimum of a 2-hour booking.
